I’m not exactly tall. I’m not exactly short. I’m pretty much average height. However, I seem to have this knack for making friends who are shorter than I am. More specifically, friends who are short and don’t wear heels. So when I showed up to a dinner with my best friend in Kansas City I realized…..”I am totally the Khloe of my friends.” And not in that good, hot way.
Shoes: Zara sold out
Purse: Kate Spade (similar in black)
Why do I say that? Because my friend is pretty much only 5 ft. tall. I am 5 ft. 4 in. and wore four inch heels, making me 5 ft. 8 in. As the hostess is taking us to our table I realized I was nearly a foot taller than she was. I looked at her and she looked up at me. Yes, she had to look up at me. I then sat down at dinner and felt incredibly self conscious because apparently I am a giant in these heels. Or I need taller friends. But new shoes are easier to get.

That is too funny! I have felt kind of avarage my whole entire life, I am 5 feet "3" tall, and I did feel too tall one time in my life at a club. Every guy in there seemed to be way shorter than me, while I was wearing heels. Definitely feels weird. Haha. You do look great in those blue striped heels! Think of yourself as a model next time :)) Have a lovely day!

I am the same height as you and I also have some very petite friends and feel like a giant whenever we go out. I love this outfit and these photos.

This really made me laugh. I am taller then most of my friends and I love heels so I know exactly how you feel. You looks gorgeous in this tho. I love that top!

Wait until you're my age, and you'll start losing some of those precious inches. I used to be 5'8".Well more like 5' 7&3/4". After my 2 back surgeries I was sure I'd gain at least 2". Instead I lost almost 2" and am now 5' 6". I'm horrified. I feel short. No offense short friends. I feel short and slightly pudgy. Ugh. You on the other hand look adorable, as always. Loving your shoes, and smile as always <3

Funny enough growing up in Haiti I was the short one, but living in South Florida I often have the same issue as you. I am 5'4. You look beautiful.

I'm 5'9' without heels, so we should hang out π
Also, I love that top.

I'm in heels 9 times outta 10, so I hear you. But ROCK that height (fake or only made real by pumps) because you look amazing. π

Nah, it's cool, rock those high heels! I love this swingy top, it's so fun!

Ha, you are too funny! Going out with my girlfriends is one of the only times these days that I get to enjoy sky-high heels; my husband and I are JUST barely the same height, and he is a bit self conscious about it … I'm still working on him embracing his inner Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman persona. π
Jessica
Girl, I'm 5 ft. 7 in. without heels on! Embrace that sexy height…but seriously, I avoid heels because of this. You and I just need to do dinner more often π

I'm always the short one in the group…though I do have a few friends who are very close to my height. You look so pretty!

Welcome to my life! I am always that giant girl in the pictures. The heels are still worth it though. π Love yours!

Haha, yea. I'm 5'2" so I'm pretty short! I think you should own the height though! A lot of girls would kill for that π

I love this top! I'm obsessed with pleats right now! And I hate to say it, I'd be one of your short friends. I'm like 5'1"… 5'2" when I'm exaggerating! π

That's too funny! I know how you feel… I have a few friends who are taller than me (I'm a little less than 5'10") yeah… these women are like 6 ft. and I like hanging out with them lol and then I have my shorter friends who are like 5'3" – 5'6" and I feel like a giant when I'm around them and wear heels, and definitely not in a good, hot way lol. I just look like a crazy giant woman. But girl, I believe you are the Khole in the good hot way π
Jacy
Oh gosh, I've had that feeling bunches of times. I'm just under 5'9" and adore heels, so I'm pretty accustomed to looking at the top of girls' heads! But what I've realized is that you should just own it! If you like the shoes, don't feel bad or self conscious! Confidence and how you carry yourself are key, so if you're not self conscious about your height or heels, people will admire it! (Btw…LOVE your heels).

I'm 5'7" and I feel the same way whenever I wear heels. Except when I'm teaching. Then I like to be towering over my students. When I do wear heels, though, they're never more than 3". I admire anyone that can do anything more than 3"!
Kari
Ha! I feel like this a LOT of the time! Especially in grade school when I grew before anyone else. At least I schooled the boys in basketball:) I absolutely LOVE those shoes! Looking beautiful as always!

Uhh you were the tall one… that is amazing! That rarely happens for us 5'4" girls (you know, unless you spend a lot of time with kindergarteners…) I don't know that I have ever been the tall one, except my 4th grade year because I had a growth spurt before most everyone else. And then they all caught up with me… Can I have those shoes?

I run into this a bit with my husband actually–I'm 5'6", and he's 5'8", so whenever I wear any sort of heel, I'm taller than he is! He does NOT appreciate that.

And here I am feeling short at 5'6". I guess that's what I get for living in a place where everyone is taller than me. I laughed at that last line, new shoes are certainly easier. Love this outfit, those shoes are too cute!

I'm such a shortie, not a single one of my friends or family members is shorter than me. You saw me with my sister in the other post, even in heels I can not compete. I suppose I could buy taller ones, but I also value my ability to walk.

LOL – as an actually tall person, I can totally relate. And I used to wear 3-4in heels on the regular. But somehow I am surrounded by other tall women. A lot of my co-workers are over 5'8" and several of my close friends are, too. So I don't feel like a giant all the time anymore! Unless I'm hanging out with my in-laws who are all super petite, and then I am huge.

No no no, Khloe is one hot mama! She rocks & embraces the tall look exactly what you should do! If you love your heels keep wearing because I definitely think you look gorgeous!

Haha, I can relate! π I'm only 164cm, but my friends are even shorter than me, so if I'm wearing heels it's kind of awkward π

Hahahaha I am FOR SURE the Khloe of my friends. I'm at least 5 inches taller and 5 sizes bigger than almost all of them. I'm not quite sure why I gravitated towards tiny friends, but I guess I'll wear my giantness proudly.
