Two things. The first, these are NOT leggings, they are black pants! I just want to clarify that although I have nothing against leggings, YOU NEED TO COVER YOUR BOOTY IN THEM! These are thick and warm black jeggings. These are not leggings. Just letting you know. I have a firm belief that leggings are wonderful things to be worn with responsibility and privilege. Basically, cover your tush ladies, no one wants to see that. I’m sorry but you needed to know.
Second, I frigging love the elbow patch trend. It reminds me of a college teacher. Possibly because I watch entirely too much How I Met your Mother in which a character named Ted is a teacher and often wears elbow patches when teaches. Which makes me then feel smart, which is opposite of the truth so then I feel like I am posing as a smart person. Maybe I should do this on a test day and then I will perform better?
On another note, I have decided that I am freaking going to STOP buying new clothes. I realized the other day that I couldn’t justify any more clothing, I have so much and I have GOT to learn to work it all. I feel like blogging has helped and hurt me at the same time. I am inspired to remix clothes but it also has made me want more clothes! Have you found this to be true?

blogging does have a way of increasing shopping tendencies. good luck with your ban! i usually try to cut back in the months leading up to the holidays as well.

Elbow patches are my favourrrrrite and it's funny, I have none! I should go out and find a great elbow patch sweater <– the is the bad part of blogging. You see the awesome things on other people and want to buy it yourself. Even though your wardrobe is more than enough. That's my problem 🙂

Oh yeah, my closet has exploded since I started blogging, but I had needed it! I literally didn't own any skirts, dresses, belts or other accessories before blogging. But now, I may be a cheap jewelry hoarder. ;o)

Yes to anything with an elbow patch.. or a knee patch for that matter. I'm tempted to just cut up my sweaters so I can mend them with patches. Hope your shopping ban works out, I'm trying out no spend november myself but so far today I've already bought a bag, bracelet and necklace.. oops.

I totally agree with that statement! Reading so many amazing blogs helps me work my own wardrobe, but then I see someone wearing something and suddenly that piece NEEDS to be in my closet! I haven't gotten to banning shopping, but I am trying to keep it down to a minimum, especially with Christmas just around the corner and so many people to buy for.
