Call me old fashioned but I LOVE a gift basket. They are like a whole love language that is highly underrated. What’s better than a gift? A gift that has a container I can use and feels like a Mary Poppins bag of never-ending surprises. Although the costs can quickly add up, I’ve found some unexpected ways to give and not break the bank. Most likely you have some of the items used below on hand and will help you keep your gifting cost down.
Moscow Mule Gift Basket
I absolutely love this one because a Moscow Mule gift basket will never be the wrong gift. If you want to step it up a bit, include copper cups. This is a GREAT gift for the holidays or a housewarming gift. The great thing is you can do it pretty affordably or increase your budget a little to include what makes them a mule, the copper up! You can dress it up with holiday greens or other seasonal flowers. This is a super easy gift basket to throw together and most likely you have some of the components on-hand already.
For this easy gift basket you’ll need:
- Ginger Beer
- Vodka
- Limes
- Optional: Mint, fruit
- A Nice Touch: Copper Cups
- Gift Box (I buy these in what feels like bulk)
The Gift of Self Care
Are you the go-to for skincare advice? Do you love trying out new products? I bet your expertise would be truly appreciated in a self care basket. Don’t worry about full-size products, lots of samples are still great! I love mixing facial and body products for a full-body experience. Include some greenery such as rosemary or eucalypti to add a spa-like ambiance. Pro tip: You can also use your rewards points at many places if you are ballin on a budget. For this you’ll need:
- Face Mask
- Poppy Tool and Nail Polish
- Pedi Kit (Locally at Beauty Boost)
- Body Oil (Locally at Beauty Boost)
- Body Lotion
- Wire Gift Basket
Welcome A New Dog
I cannot tell you how incredible it was to be given a massive gift basket from my coworkers when I adopted Eleanor. They surprised me with a virtual dog mom shower it and it helped me out SO much. There’s so many things to get when you welcome a new animal. Putting together a new dog gift basket will be a huge help to any new parent!
For this gift basket some ideas are:
- Waste bags
- Treats
- Chew Toy
- Wipes
- Leash
- Vitamins
Like I said, gift baskets are basically a whole love language to me. If you create any of ideas, tag me on Instagram! I want to see what you do and also get excited for the the person receiving.

A favorite basket of mine to put together is “Curl Up with a Good Book” – I include a book or two, a cozy throw, a mug and tea/coffee/cocoa packets, depending on the recipient. In fact, everyone on my list may get these this year!!!

My favorite is a “favorite things” gift basket – I add in a few things random things I’ve been loving, like favorite hair ties, a favorite snack, really whatever product has improved my life somehow!
