I don’t care what the calendar says, if it is June, it’s the freaking summer. The weather doesn’t abide by the set season calendar anyway so I’m not going to either. So, since it’s summer, it’s officially skirt, short and dress season. The one item I wanted to get for my skirt collection was a pretty floral one that was both classic and colorful. So then Joules USA just so happened to contact me the same week I decided to make a floral skirt my next purchase. It was total kismet. (I used kismet so that I would feel like I actually got something out of the English classes I had to take.) (That one word basically cost $4,000.)

When I received the skirt it was actually a size too big. I became a grown-woman and researched a tailor in the Kansas City area and took it in. I realized that the print is one that will have several years wear and therefore be worth the cost of alterations. So I got the skirt that I dreamed of and learned that a tailor can work miracles.
