Listen, I think we have the whole “let them eat cake thing” wrong. Marie Antoinette was French so surely she meant “let them eat macarons” instead. In any case, that would be my cry because I have finally seen the light about why bloggers lose it when it comes to macarons. I had one last year from Dean and Deluca but it was awful, absolutely awful. One of our sponsors for KC Blogger Brunch was ‘Lette Macarons and not only did they donate a generous amount of macarons for us, they sent me some to inspire an outfit. I chose the flavors: rose, salted caramel and earl gray. However, I also ate the pistachio and chocolate ones from the brunch and those also made their way into my box!

The entire website though inspired me because when the macarons arrived I couldn’t handle the pretty colors that showed up on my doorstep. When I got to try them I decided that I loved rose and salted caramel the best. Unlike the macarons I got previously they weren’t tried and were so rich in taste and texture. I was pleasantly surprised plus the colors were such a welcome into my life. Kansas is still so blah and brown right now so it was fun to get pull this bright and cheery outfit out of my closet!

I just saw the light about macaroons recently too, there's a Parisian cafe down the street from where I work and their dollar macaroon day is my new obsession. I love this look on you, your skirt is so pretty!!
