Do you guys remember the commercial for Budweiser beer that dealt with the weird superstitions that people have about sports? As I was going through these photos I realized that I am now one of those crazy people. Especially during March Madness when teams that seem to have a 1 in a billion chance of winning pull an upset and the world is astounded. As a fan of a team that normally makes it into the tournament, this is not comforting.
What are my crazy superstitions? First, I have to wear my PINK for KU undies. Yes I know, TMI. Second, I have to be wearing one of my schools colors, be it my boyfriends too big shirt or my own top. Once these two things are taken care of, I get a can of vanilla Coke Zero and type in the hashtag #KUBBALL and follow the Twitter conversation. This is all before the game even starts.
You know what is the craziest thing? I don’t even know who I am when I am doing these things. Seriously, I am as uninterested in sports as one could get. I called a home run a touchdown one time. Seriously. I can’t make this stuff up.
