I frigging LOVE bows. I love how girly, frilly and ridiculous they are. I LOVE Mad Men because of the wardrobe. I love the flowers, I love the secretarial blouses with bows that used to be a sign of spinsterhood. In case you haven’t noticed, I REALLY love me some bows. I don’t wear them on the blog that much because well, there aren’t that many tops that have bows on them. If I come across one that is cute though you can almost guarantee that I will buy it. However, I don’t come across tops with bows like this very often which makes me sad.
For this outfit though the bow wasn’t originally included in it. You see, the bow is actually a sheer shirt that I got from Zara in Vegas. The top is just a normal Target shirt that is loose and worn to run errands in. I was trying on the sheer shirt and wondered what the bow would look like peeking out of the striped shirt. Bam. A whole new outfit was born. That is, if an outfit can even be born.

I love that bow! I bet the top itself is really pretty. Bows are my favorite on blouses, too 🙂 That or ruffles…or anything embroidered. I'm a sucker for that girly stuff.
