Get Your Game Day On

 This weekend I will be attending the first KU football game and I have two things I realized. First, this is my last fall as a college student attending these games. This whole series of “lasts” is really killing me right now. The last season I will get to tailgate, walk around getting free food and dressing up for football games. The second realization is that summer is over and that well, I have freaking a lot of homework. I’m not sure what I was expecting from senior year but I definitely now know that it’s time to get mentally into the game. 

Aside from the emotional stuff, I really do freaking love dressing up for game day. I know you all know this but it bears repeating, have fun with your teams/schools colors! I absolutely love mixing and matching patterns and non-KU related clothing. There are so many more options for cute team wear than there used to be! 

If you aren’t from the Midwest you may not realize what a bad record KU football had last year but if we win four games this year it’s going to be a success. So that sucks. What does NOT suck however is dressing up for game day. I love seeing the outfits girls sport and end up watching those more than the actual game. We are incredibly lucky that we got some really fun colors to mix and match! 

For those of you who are in the Lawrence area, Plato’s Closet (which is where I got most of this outfit) will have a table with free swag for you all! Be sure and visit them when you are at the game this Saturday. Oh and I just went by there this week, they have lots of cute stuff for game day!
