I have this fun little game of turning words that aren’t verbs, into verbs. Are you doing adult things like actually washing dishes, planning our your meals, paying bills? You are then adulting pretty hardcore. Are you spending a productive Saturday at the farmer’s market, getting fresh produce, feeling all good about yourself while also eating a organic sugar filled pastry? Are you also dropping by a store every 10 minutes so that you never really get comfortable in the car while also shooting your MPG? You are doing double duty. You are simultaneously adulting AND erranding.

Such was the case when I wore this outfit to run errands all over Kansas City. What was not planned was also getting my shoe stuck in mud because Kansas City is apparently the Seattle and rained for nearly 2 weeks it felt like. Oh and then my female coworker who is a friend and happens to also be a HUGE fan of Orange is the New Back hit on me in the skirt. Weekending. The end.

I rarely look cute running errands but when I actually get myself together I feel much better about it! Growing up we always mixed Arabic verbs with "ing" in English. What was funny is that all Arab American kids did it.
