I don’t usually wear makeup. I wear mascara and some lipstick. However, it’s not because I don’t like makeup, it’s because every time I try to apply makeup, I look like I got punched in the eye. I am not joking, I was once asked after taking 45 minutes to do a smoky eye if everything was OK at home. I was mortified and so ended the days of me doing a smoky eye without lots and lots of practice first. Then Laura Geller sent me a ridiculously insanely gorgeous makeup kit. It was like Christmas for the makeup inept. A brow pencil that fills in your brows literally in one click and swipe? YES PLEASE. PRAISE BABY JESUS IT’S SO EASY. Lipstick that moisturizes while it lasts for hours? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY 23 YEARS OF LIFE?! Highlighter that works? Didn’t even know what all you could do with highlighter until playing around with it. Laura killed it with these tools. It was..as I LOVE to say and Andrew loves to make fun of me for… easy peasy lemon squeezy.
So.. what did I do? Here is the list:
Eyebrow pencil: Exact in brunette
Highlighter: Exact
Lipstick: Exact
Eyeshadow: Exact (middle color with a hint of brown)
Mascara: Exact
All I did with the brow gel was twist and run through my brows. Little bit of higlighter above my brows, basic eyeshadow and mascara and viola! Done! Everything else had great instructions and didn’t make me feel like a dummy applying it! It’s pretty much idiot proof and a great little way to perk up my tired eyes after late nights of applying to jobs!

Bright, simple, makeup without really looking like you are wearing makeup is the only way to go. You look so fresh faced and adorable. I'm glad someone is making things simple for those of us who just can't handle anything more than a few quick swipes!
