I saw this shirt on Zara’s website and I immediately added it into my shopping cart. I bought it a week later after payday and eagerly awaited its arrival. It arrived and well, I loved it. Until I turned it around and realized that in one simple shirt there were three different types of material and all of which seemed to be a different shade of white. I am not really thrilled about that but I love the cute french girls that are on the front. They remind me of my best friend (who happens to be turning 24 in two days) and I if we weren’t separated by about 1,000 miles.

Growing up we weren’t the most fashionable kids on the block but we still rocked what we had. I remember MUDD being super, super big in the late 90’s (I was born in 91) and man it was exciting to see that stupid hand print on pants. Pretty sure this is also when L.E.I. was happening and there were two DISTINCT camps of people. Those who wore Mudd things and those who wore L.E.I. I was a Mudd girl just so you know. I’m happy to say that both Kara and I have improved our fashion game and long gone are the days of Mudd and L.E.I.

That is an adorable tee – hard to tell of the different material. I have a very similar French Graphic one. The skirt is cute too, I love the bottom ruffle. You look Tres Chic!
Happy 24th to your Best Friend, also. =)

LOL!! I was a Mudd girl, too! It was my favorite brand in 98. I remember I'd always wear their jeans and tops together. I thought I was so cool lol. Oh man…what were we thinking??
This is a really chic outfit. I actually really like the sleeves on it π It gives it more of an elegant look.

You look FAB! First, I love how you paired this with the swingy skirt and those caged lace up shoes are darling. Second I just love the detailing on that top. Not only is the print adorable but the "sheer" (?) two tone detailing is so chic!

I don't know about Mudd & LEI, butI was born in '92 Europe and I DO remember that Von Dutch, platforms, The Backstreet Boys, Five & anything with Britney on it were hot stuff in my school. I never participated in any of these trends, but looking back now: I don't think I mind.
I love this outfit. You look SO cute in this skirt ^^ Your new shirt looks very lovely. I only notice the different color on the sleeves, but it adds that baseball shirt effect and I love that π xo

I honestly don't remember if I wore Mudd or LEI. I want to say Mudd but those days are so long gone!
Lauren {Fizz and Frosting}
I love this tee with your flirty skirt! ADORABLE. I'm pretty sure I was a Mudd girl back in the day, but the fact that you were born in '91 just makes me feel entirely too old.
Ginny MyNewFavoriteOutfit
I actually really like the uniqueness of this shirt and think you look great. Since I'm older than you I wasn't a MUDD or LEI girl I was a Guess, Lawman, and Pepe girl I lived in hose in M.S. And high school.

Pretty sure I had both MUDD and LEI jeans back in the day!

LOL. Mudd and LEI… I am slightly older than you, but those definitely were two different groups of girls at my school. I was wearing Old Navy. Also I get how the mix of fabrics can make a top difficult to work with, but it is very cute. It looks really adorable with the skirt though.

Rocking it- that trumpet skirt is perfect on you, too. BABE. π
I think I had both Mudd AND L.E.I in my closet… Also, JNCO. Are you too young to remember JNCO? Maybe don't answer this.
Need to get together soon!

Three different shades of white, how strange! Well, it is a darling shirt, and that's the one bad thing about ordering on the internet. YOU JUST CAN'T TOUCH IT! Or see it properly. Darn photoshop doesn't apply to real llife (shakes fist angrily)
