One of my favorite moments this year was when my best friend texted me this, “Who would you switch places with and why and what do you think you would learn about each other?” Okay, amazing question(s) but it was like 10 am a Saturday and I was driving. It spoke to me because no matter how long it’s been she is always trying to learn more about us. That spurred a fun would you rather questions conversation that is much better than a “Would you rather have wet socks or have wind in your face?” question.
This weekend, maybe spend some time asking things face to face (or facetime to facetime) “would you rather…” instead of how was your week. We know our weeks are heavy, depressing and most a painful reminder that we used to like getting asked that question so we could talk about what made us happy. Better yet, make it a date night and create a charcuterie tray!
Would You Rather Questions
- Would you rather be happy and content but not achieve anything Or never be satisfied but achieve a lot?
- Would you rather work hard at a rewarding job or hardly have to work at a job that isn’t rewarding?
- Would you rather lose all of the money you’ve earned this year or lose all of the memories you’ve gained this year?
- Would you rather always have wet socks or wind in your face? (Hey, you gotta lighten the mood a little when you ask hard questions!)
- Would you rather have fame and success but no family or friends or family and friends but no fame?
- Would you rather always have a full tank of gas or a full phone battery?
- Would you rather be able to change the past or the future?
- Would you rather always hit red lights or not be able to turn right on red?
- Would your rather animals be able to speak or animals be able to know your thoughts?
- Would you rather always be tired or always be hungry?
And finally… would you rather this game be over or I continue?
Have fun and let me know what happens!

I love this SO MUCH. Such a good idea! Because we all know that the *real* answer to “how are you?” is “bad, but the general state of things is so chaotic that I’m numb to it, so I guess I’m fine?”
1. Happy and content. That would be an achievement in itself for me.
2. Work hard at a rewarding job
3. Lose all the money. I can build my finances back up. I can’t replace memories.
4. Wind in my face. Wet socks are THE WORST
5. Family and friends and no fame, plz
6. My phone battery is never fully charged so full tank of gas!
7. Change the past. Not even for me personally but like I’d make sure certain presidents were never elected
8. Not be able to turn right on red
9. Talking animals!
10. I mean, I’m already always tired… so…
CONTINUE, PLEASE!
This was wonderful and you are wonderful
xx

Happy and content for sure.
Work hard at a rewarding job.
All the money.
OMG. Probably wind because wet socks = blisters.
No fame, EW! haha
Full tank of gas.
Probably the future.
We can’t turn right on red in NYC anyways, so there’s my answer LOL
Have them speak!
Already tired 99% of the time so that’s my answer!
This was so cute and fun, Alissa!

These are fun! It just struck me this morning that I can still read your blog even while not getting updates via social media. WOW. Anyway, catching up now. Haha. I’ll have to use this questions on Andrew – he and I frequently play would you rather games, and he’s tired of my off-the-wall questions like, “would you rather have cheeto dust permanently on your fingers, or be sexually attracted to fruit?”.
