Wrap Dresses

I STAN and always will a wrap dress. They are flattering on absolutely every single body type. You can find them at all price-points and they are the #1 item I have in my closet for my work wardrobe. Dress them up or down, they will become your closet MVP.

Office Dresses

All of these dresses work well for the office to a date night. For thinner dresses I always wear some sort of shorts or a slip underneath to avoid awkward moments or realizing the harsh office lighting reveals more than I want. Do not, and I repeat, do not, wear something unlined without coverage underneath.

Pants...Slacks...Whatever You Call Them

My go-to black pants (and blue!) are Loft Riviera in curvy fit. These have been what I reach for year after year. A close runner-up is Banana Republic curvy fit Sloan

Accessories

I prefer to only wear earrings, but that is a personal preference. Below are some of the delicate necklaces that work well in a professional (and causal) setting that help you finesse your new wardrobe!

When in doubt, simplicity is key! Don’t let your jewelry and accessories take away from the look.

Bags

I cannot say enough about my Madwell bags – I own three!  They are not only some of the most well-made leather bags, they are incredible gifts to give! Perfect for graduation gifts they are a classic piece that will never go out of style. Adding a monogram is a personalized and beautiful touch.

I own a Tumi backpack for my work travel and also highly recommend them. If you’re like me and almost always have your laptop on you, you need a backpack. I’ve tried others and they are great for everyday, but Tumi is for someone like me who travels a lot and needs to maximize every space.

I have splurged on Burberry bags before and they are my favorite designer bag. Yes, I carry my expensive bags everyday and put laptops and everything else in them. I take care of them but life is to short to not enjoy what I’ve worked hard to buy.
